Weathered wood

I have always been a fan of weathered wood, reclaimed wood, re-purposed wood. The idea for this post came to me last weekend, wandering around the neighborhood, looking into front yards and gardens for a photo inspiration (no flowers yet!). I saw a handmade object/sculpture and a planter made of old, weathered cedar branches (sorry no photo) and just minutes later this great door to a local restaurant Journeyman.
