Meadow flowers – delicate yet resilient
The meadows I grew up with in Poland and visited in May have changed. Bisected by new roads, fences, taken over by new residential construction are less accessible. But I was happy to discover that my favorite wildflowers still can be spotted. Not the huge colonies of pink or yellow I remember, but more like a punctuation. Happy to report that the wild sorrel I used to search out for seasonal soup is still there!
Happy weekend.
